The intention is that as many congregations as possible give us their view of which of the suggestions leaders of our congregations will advocate in their local setting. ”It is my/our intention to support the “Feed the Roots of Leadership” Appeal in the following ways:

Show the Appeal DVD at congregational events and distribute the commitment form.
Plan worship or other special event(s) to emphasize the Appeal.
Distribute the brochure and commitment form to as many as possible.
Arrange for “Temple Talks” on behalf of the Appeal perhaps also scheduling spokespersons at other congregational events.
Schedule a specific Sunday as Feed the Roots of Leadership Sunday. Distribute the brochure a few weeks before that and receive commitment forms on that Sunday.

Think about creating special reasons for Appeal giving such as in memory or honor of a pastor or in honor of an anniversary of the congregation.
